Web Developer/Programmer

We have an immediate opening for a web developer/programmer.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deploy innovative solutions for our customers.
  • Maintain existing customer and internal applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide customer support.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Self starter with a passion for growth and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to meet commitments and deadlines.
  • Must be results oriented, motivated and possess a strong work ethic with high standards in product quality.
  • Dynamic Website design, development and delivery, including effective user interface design and Web usability.
  • Expertise with query-driven content delivery methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of current Web technologies such as HTML, XHTML, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, XML / XSL etc.
  • Experience in using MySQL database and Apache Web Server.
  • Experience in Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks would be an asset.

This is a six month contract position that could lead to full-time employment.
